All full-time and part-time students of IT Tralee are entitled to a TCard. Students must present a filled out card agreement form before their photos can be taken. You will receive this form on registration day.

Full-time Students

All full-time students will receive their card on registration day where their photograph and signature are taken on the day and the card is produced and given to the student.

Part Time Students

Part-time students will receive their cards from the admissions or adult education offices depending on the duration of your course. You may need to have identification and/or your student ID number with you.

Staff

All members of staff are entitled to a tCard. You must firstly sign the card agreement form in the Human Resources Department where your photograph will be taken and your card will be given to you on production.

Visitors

Visitors may obtain a re-valuable card. This card can be obtained from the Library in either North or South Campus. This card will allow you to use photocopying services there but cannot be used for printing. It will not contain your name or photo.

This new card is your key to some of the resources, services and facilities of the Institute of Technology Tralee and available all through the one card. The key services that the smart card will be used for initially, will be printing & photocopying, with additional services and future applications being added at a later stage. This smart card will also be the offical identification of the Institute as well as being used for the Library facilities and logging calls on the Computer Servies Helpdesk. A fee will be charged for issue of a replacement card. Please refer to your student handbook for the appropriate fee.
